Montgomery Academy’s Grady Ming won the boys poll last week with 85% of votes after making 17 saves in the state championship match.

Alabama Christian Academy's Julie Waldo won with 67% of votes. Waldo was low medalist with a 7-under-par 137 to win the AHSAA 1A/3A state individual championship. Waldo was the reigning state champion, giving her back-to-back titles in 2024 and again in 2025. She shot 68 on Monday and 69 on Tuesday to win by 10 strokes.

Carver's Maurice Conner won the boys poll last week with 45% of votes after winning the AHSAA outdoor track and Class 7A state championship in the 100-meter dash (10.63) and finishing second in the 200-meter dash (21.35).

Montgomery Catholic's Haylei Mason collected 97% of votes after claiming a pair of AHSAA 4A state championships in the 100-meter hurdles (14.66) and 300-meter hurdles (44.78).
